    I’ve been coming here for years, but this was the first time for Christmas dinner. Amazing service and food as always, but now with great Christmas memories!

    I had the cod and Greek rice. It was phenomenal! One of the best cod dishes I've ever had (and I get cod and whitefish often). My husband had the lamb lollipops and he also thought they were the best he's ever had. We had saganaki as an app (delicious) and the French press coffee and baklava for desert. I loved that the baklava was served in 4 thin sliced rounds vs a big square. And French press coffee is unique in that most restaurants do not serve it. My husband couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Everthing about this meal was top notch, including the service. Loved it!

    Nicholas- our waiter was excellent! He was funny and attentive. Food was served with the perfect timing and was also excellent. The restaurant looked beautiful and festive with all the holiday lights and decorations and our family truly enjoyed it!

    We had chosen the day and time to get a quiet place for our celebration. Did not disappoint (except for a couple whose toddler threw a fit for a number of minutes -- we are beyond that point but have all been there!). Food was excellent, service was mostly unobtrusive, and we had time to talk. I have not been disappointed on any of my visits to Basil's.
