   So incredibly loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Service seemed overwhelmed, forgot to pack leftovers requested. Had to ask for things several times before accommodated. Not the best but food was okay. Just very hectic and confused place for a Friday night.

   I had been laid up since August and am just now beginning to get around. One of my first stops was Basta. We invited a friend to join us and made a reservation as usual. Unfortunately the res that I thought I made for 3 was actually for 2. Oops. But no matter, Samantha and her team after a short wait on a busy Saturday night, found us a table and all was well. This could’ve really gone sideways but Samantha and her team were extremely helpful in spite of my screw up. That is the welcoming and inviting culture everyone can expect when they go to Basta! So thanks Samantha, we truly appreciate all you did for us!

   Food was fresh and delicious. Service outstanding per usual. Warm environment that was welcoming to my guest who had never been before. I will always return to Basta’s!

   Service with Randy was amazing! The food was top tier and the house made pasta did not disappoint. There is an extensive wine list, which is a perfect match for the ambient experience.

   Party of four diners, our server Randy very helpful, pleasant and efficient. Cesare salad is a frequent order for myself when I order entree with cream base, pasta, risotto, poultry or some fish entrees,. This salad is repeatedly bland, the lettuce is never dried and the dish is always watery. Cannot recall even after multiple times ive ordered that it has been satisfactory.

   Our server Cassie was amazing. Spot on with timing of our courses and extremely professional. Not to mention the food! The food was too good and that butter cake OMG 10/10

    We were a party of 6. One of the salads we ordered was Caprese. The cheese was more like Burrata. The tomatoes were chunky and diced, not sliced, and had no flavor. There was dressing and some sort of glaze as well, it was not great. I ordered the ($58) filet mignon, cooked “medium” and it came out “rare” and so it had to be sent back. Meanwhile everybody else was eating their entree… my husband felt bad and shared some of his steak with me. The fingerling potatoes were not fingerling, they were crispy, almost fried, and chunky and not great. I was not impressed with my meal, especially for the prices. I would be hard pressed to go back.
