Bavarian Bierhaus is a Communal Style Seating Bierhall. Beyond the décor, the entertainment, the food, and the beer, what the Bavarian Bierhaus especially wants to replicate is something called Gemütlichkeit. It is that warm inviting feeling Bavarians exude when they make visitors feel welcome and at home. However, while the Bavarian style of Gemütlichkeit is unique within Germany, it is not unique to Bavaria. Nashvillians would recognize it as southern hospitality.

I love this restaurant during normal times. We made reservations through open table only to be told on arrival they don’t take reservations. We self seated without incident, so no big deal, I assume just a flaw in the system. During Covid, they have an abbreviated menu, it’s good, but if you ever been here before, your going to be missing the red cabbage and some of their usual favorites. This place is typical a 5/5, but with the current situation, it was just ok, server seemed overwhelmed and food took longer than usual to come out. We will be back, but hopefully they will have their old menu and service back when we return. It’s typically, a great experience with great food

I really love the onion soup but I ask for light pretzels and there was a lot pretzels. they gave the requested soup with light pretzels to another person at our table and on top of it it was extremely salty. I pretty much ate the cheese off the top and left the rest. I like the restaurant and have been here before I hope this was a one time incident.

James, I'm sorry that your order got confused with someone else's and that it was too salty. I tried it last weekend after getting this complaint from a couple others. And even though I prefer salty, it was on the edge of being too salty for me. So we adjusted the recipe. Please contact me so that we can make this up to you. Thanks for letting me know. Bob

Very disappointing. Music was so loud we had to go outside. Food service was very slow - no drink refills. Food arrived 5 minutes before the silverware so it was cold by the time we could eat it. Limited menu. Won't be going back.

Live music was so loud we couldn't hear each other, and there really aren't any seating options "away" from the music since it is just one huge room. Food and beer was good, but not amazing for the price. If I wanted to get drunk on German beer and listen to accordion versions of regular American songs, this would be a great spot but that's not the vibe I was looking for.

We went here when they first opened and the food was really good. Now just fair. And it is so loud in there, I couldn't hear my server or conversations with my family. Won't be going back probably.

Took friends to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at BB. Our first time at BB. We had a great time EXCEPT for the 22 year old server who said he is from Germany, worked at BB three years, told my 62 year old guy friend that he wasn’t pouring his beer right, don’t order the $25 green beer because it taste awful after the first one, very condescending, couldn’t hear what he was saying half the time, didn’t bring enough silverware or napkins, & watched us like he was ready to clean our table at the end so we left. Mind you that the restaurant was half empty because of the Coronavirus. We still left a decent tip but he didn’t deserve it & shouldn’t be serving table/that attitude. We will ask to be moved next time. LOVE Bavarian Bierhaus though & can’t wait to go back!

Excellent service. Great menu choices. Music too loud. We could not talk during meal except between musical numbers.

Made a reservation for 1pm and didn’t get seated until well after 1. I watched people who walked in get seated faster. Server took forever to greet us but his service was fine after. Broccoli and cauliflower were steamed to death. One of the meals was burnt. Not worth the price when there’s no attention to the food.
