Bavaro’s opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida.

A company committed to the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza, Bavaro’s stays true to tradition by using hand-crafted, wood-fired brick ovens designed by third-generation Neapolitan craftsmen, a 100-year-old yeast culture, 100-year-old Neapolitan recipes, and top-of-the-line ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

From a restaurant in downtown Tampa that seats 50 guests, to a global brand with a standard of quality that resonates around the world, Bavaro’s has since built 3 additional locations and continues to commit itself to the high-quality, welcoming experience that guests all around the country have grown to love.

Bavaros is always one of my favorite places to dine. However, this time, the Ceaser salad was way too fishy and the lettuce was saturated in it. Both pizzas were burned on the bottom too. Also, we were dining with friends and unfortunately, did not receive the happy hour price on several glasses of wine that was purchased. An oversight that I did not check until the following day, reviewing the receipt. Overall, we will be back, but will definitely be checking the itemized before paying (and skipping the salad).

As usual everything was wonderful. We ordered the Verde Salad, bruschetta and the homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

We come here frequently and normally enjoy our experience. The Pizza was okay but came out with the salad…would have sent back but it just would have sat under heat lamp. Hostess was missing for about 5 to 10 minutes and chaos at the stand.

We enjoyed a pizza and two pasta dishes. Meals were tasty and hot with ample portions for dinner. Service was very attentive and helpful while making chocies. Will definitely visit this location again. On-street parking was available with just a short walk.

Bavaro’s is our FAVORITE pizza and their other menu items are awesome as well. Tried the limoncello ricotta special and it was delicious! Their Wednesday night 1/2 off bottle of wine will bring us back midweek again. None better than Bavaro’s!

We love this restaurant but unfortunately last night even though we had a reservation there was no tables available and we had to wait another 35 minutes just to get seated, we got finally seated to an outside table next to the bar next-door and the music was so loud, we did not have a good experience, and the food was unfortunately very salty this time :/
