   It was a great evening. It’s a small restaurant and highly recommend making a reservation. Staff were very pleasant and one of the owners came to our table to chat. Only complaint was cold air blowing on our table but after awhile it got better. It might’ve been due to the very cold day and they just opened for dinner so cold air sitting in the ducts.

   The food was excellent as always and the presentation was first rate. It was our first time having lunch at Baxters and the experience was as memorable as dinners we’ve enjoyed there in the past. Kenneth, the owner, greeted us at the door and made us feel immediately welcome. Michelle did a fabulous job recommending our meal options and taking care of us. We will definitely be back soon.

   This is such a gem in Benicia! A great place for lunch, brunch and dinner. A small restaurant with a fabulous ambiance. A great waitstaff and the owner - Kenneth - is so personable and fun to talk with! Reservations are helpful, too, to guarantee your seat. Delicious menu! Great bar and wine selection, too. Fabulous!

   Baxters in Benicia service, food, staff were outstanding. The ambiance is very intimate in the speakeasy area as easiest to have a conversation. Excellent for a dinner date. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington on the menu. I have also visited for brunch w family. Baxters is the epitome of excellence in all categories.

   First time eating at this establishment. Was extremely pleased with the mixologist behind the bar; our server was extremely knowledgeable and made great wine pairing suggestions for our meals. We were seated in the "speakeasy" section, which is a little darker than the main dining area, adding to a more intimate dining experience. The scallops my wife ordered were described by her as "top three" scallops she has ever had. I had the salmon which was tender and perfectly cooked, served with a saffron sauce that complemented the meal perfectly. Oh- and if you are a bread pudding fan, don't miss it- We shared one and wished we had ordered one each it was do delicious.

   The SpeakEasy Ambiance, menu, and service was outstanding. We enjoyed lunch, sharing the Korean Chicken skewer which were cooked perfectly and moist, to the French Dip that had gravy instead of Au Jus was delightful. We had their English Bread pudding, which made to a lunch to remember.

   There are not too many places anymore where you can have an intimate dining experience with delicious food, great service, and relative quiet. No, you can't hear a pin drop but at least I could hear my dining companion from across the table! This would be a fantastic date night for anyone who wants to impress their partner. Highly recommend!

   Thank our waitress and Kenneth for making our brunch outstanding. The shrimp n grits were delicious and French toast and the egg, bacon, and potato breakfast. Everything on point. The mimosa were good to I had black cherry and brother had mango. We’ll see you soon.
