   Never fails to please. Always go for the Bang Bang Prawns with a side of rosemary chips. It was not too busy today but we had booked online the night before to ensure we got a table at the time we wanted. Our dogs are made welcome with doggy treats. They had already had an hour on the beach so they just chilled under the table while we ate. Our server was a very pro dog chap and had lots to chat about. Next visit planned for May. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

   I was at SchoolHouse over the weekend and Beach house today. Still trying to decide whose rosemary chips are best ! Fish pie at BH today was fab. Pizza and white bait at SH fab too. And the peas and samphire too. Such a nice team of people. Music a little loud but didn’t ruin the experience. My 90 year old godmother had a great time too ! Thank you all !

   The food was lovely. Great fish, fresh and excellent stew/sauce. The only problem was our server had zero empathy, not at all a warm person. A warm and friendly reception from staff makes a massive difference and it was missing here unfortunately. Staff at the Beach House are normally so friendly.

   Sadly the food was overpriced and below average. Our starter was okay ( if the beetroot had not been so cold it would have been so much better). Our mains were so disappointing. Over fried dry fish and poorly fried fries both tasteless. We also had the pleasure of listening to a member of the kitchen staff arguing which was truly unacceptable and unprofessional. He continued to rant with no awareness of the customers (us) who were sitting right next to him ( it’s an open kitchen). We were celebrating our anniversary as well :(

    Truly delicious food, such a cute little restaurant in an exceptional setting. Unfortunately our waitress was a touch passive agressive - other than that everything was pretty perfect.
