Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market, The Loop and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners Andrew Ashmore, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. The menu features healthy meets delicious options, and is known for its iconic coffee and bakery counter, including signature cookies, in-house pastry favorites and our house blends from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, featuring Light, Dark, Espresso and Decaf roasts.

Absolutely delicious and we ordered the 2 eggs any way and coffee. Hash browns crisp, bacon crisp and sweet glaze, whole grain toast w jam and full bodied coffee. Service was so quick our food arrived before our coffee!

We waited 30 min without a server acknowledging us. We ended up waving another server over who sent another server to pour waters and didn’t seem to realize we had already been waiting a long time and were ready to order. The food ended up coming out before our coffees. Overall not the greatest experience.

Beatrix is one of our go to’s in Fulton Market. The first time having brunch there and it did not disappoint! Great, varied menu. Fun breakfast cocktails. Energetic vibe.

Beatrix service is typically exceptional and customer friendly. Our waiter was transactional. We had to ask them several times for service. As we understand their tables, the waiter should be proactive and attentive to customers. We will continue to support Beatrix but the service needs to improve or find waiters who are customer first.
