Hidden behind a pawn shop storefront, Beauty & Essex invites discovery in every sense of the word. After you walk through this lavish pawn shop inspired storefront, you’ll then find a stunning restaurant with your table in one of several jewelry box rooms.

A partnership with TAO Group and acclaimed chef/restaurateur Chris Santos, Beauty & Essex offers unique sharing plates and new twists on classic cocktails. The menu serves up gems like grilled cheese smoked bacon & tomato soup dumplings, chicken meatballs, 40-day dry-aged tomahawk ribeye and more.

    I really wish I remembered our waiters name because he was outstanding. We ordered almost all of his recommendations and the food was superb. It’s a fun lively scene and has a great drinks menu.

    Beauty and Essex has a unique ambiance. It gives you the feeling that you are sitting inside of a jewelry box which is so cool. The food and service are top notch as well. It is located at the Cosmopolitan behind the Pawn Shop. If your in town, this is definitely a hidden gem!

    Love this place but if you want to have any type of meaningful conversation this is not the place. Food, drinks, atmosphere and staff are amazing!

    This is our second time dining here and just as our last visit everything was amazing. The food is delicious and the service is amazing.

    I had eaten here years ago and it was wonderful. This time around fell a little short. It was dark and chaotic inside, a lot of people had to take out their cell flashlights to read the menu. There were long gaps in the food coming out and I couldn’t find our waiter at times to ask for a refills. Food was just okay. The only thing I really loved was our kale and apple salad.
