In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. It was a great experience at Bella Brava. The restaurant is beautiful inside and a great space with outdoor seating. An overall great vibe. The location is just as great as it is located in a pavilion with a shops, services, eateries (including Bella Brava), which all surrounded a space of artificial turf that is great to just hangout, let kids run and play etc, and there was also some live music. Our server at Bella Brava was Veronica and she was friendly and very attentive. She made sure we were having a great experience and even though we could see she had several other tables, it was like she just knew when to stop by and check on us. The food was amazing and the menu offers something for everyone from personal sized pizza to full course Italian meals. It has a feel of a more upscale restaurant experience with a friendly, welcoming vibe. So you can be dressed up for a special occasion, date night, or casual dress meeting up with friends! We will be back because of the wonderful service, the delicious food, and the entire experience! Thank you Veronica and the entire staff at Bella Brava! Oh and you can even "Buy the the kitchen a round" to show support of those working in the kitchen to make the amazing food. It's an option on the menu that I thought was a wonderful idea!

This was about the sixth time we have been to this restaurant. We almost always get the chicken Parmesan. This time it was definitely overcooked very dry. The service was also fairly poor. For example, they never removed used plates from the table. As the tables are small anyway, this made for a very cramped situation.

Makes me very sad, nice looking place, good location, greedy owners, average to poor food. First, had 6:15pm reservation, got there at 6:10pm, told there were NO tables, waited MORE than 30 minutes to finally get seated. DO NOT have reservation if you are not going to honor them. Second, high industrial ceiling, hard floors and walls and a room FULL of screaming children, sounded like a Chuck E. Cheese in there. Lastly, and most important, the food is far from the prices they charge. I tried the Shortrib Ragu, I was so excited for their homemade pasta, and good Shortrib. What I got was WAY overcooked (soggy) pasta, and literally 2 TINY TINY shreds of shortrib, not even enough for a small bite. My wife had a pasta dish with a white cream sauce, her pasta was also way overcooked, and there was virtually no sauce, it was SO dry. My father-in-law got the Eggplant pasta dish, the eggplant was SO hard, basically uncooked, it was too hard to even eat. The good part was our Waitress who truly tried her very best to make it a nice night, she was very pleasant, and very friendly. But all she could do was keep apologizing over and over, SHE knew it wasn't right, but other than removing some items from our bill, she couldn't do much else. We gave her a huge tip for her efforts and trying so hard. But, the short of it is, we wont be back. SO disappointed. They have such a great location, but truly are making NO effort to put out food that matches the prices they are charging. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Food was excellent as usual. Service was great and seeing Santa was a bonus. I want to give a shout out to the manager Dave! Every time we have visited your restaurant, Dave has been so welcoming. From saying hello, checking in on how our meal is, to wishing us happy holidays. You are lucky to have such an amazing employee.

Maybe just the busy Christmas party time but was very busy and the service staff seemed overwhelmed and were not attentive at all. Had to ask for refills multiple times and waitress forgot things we asked for. Food was ok. Beef Carpaccio was excellent, everything else seemed a bit undersized and rushed. Pizza was overdone and mostly black on the bottom. We will try again after the new year when it’s a bit slower there.
