   Was not even able to dine at the restaurant because when we arrived for our 8:00 reservation, we were told they were already 45 minutes behind. We were offered a free appetizer that we could order at the bar, but no children were allowed and we had a minor in our party. Poor management and time wasted.

   We had a 7:15 reservation and weren't seated for an hour after. Our waiter kept forgetting to bring things like straws, spoons, drinks.

   The food was delicious but the service was slow and lacking and easily took 30min for the check. Luckily we were paired with a lovely family and made some new friends!

   I recently dined at Benihana, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. Despite having a reservation, we waited an astonishing 30 minutes before being seated. Once we finally sat down, we expected the excitement of a hibachi experience, but instead, we were left waiting again—almost 20 minutes between each course. To make matters worse, we never received refills on our drinks, which felt especially neglectful. After being seated, we sat for an additional 20 minutes with nothing to occupy our time—no drinks, no appetizers, not even a friendly greeting from our server. As it was my child's birthday, we were looking forward to some special treatment, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen either. My child didn’t even receive a birthday hat, which is a standard gesture at most restaurants. To top it all off, we were shocked to find that our meals did not come with rice or noodles, which are typically standard accompaniments. For a total bill of $360, this lack of attention to detail and service was unacceptable. Overall, the experience left us frustrated and disappointed. We were looking forward to celebrating a special occasion, but instead, we left feeling neglected and underwhelmed. I cannot recommend Benihana based on this experience.

   Made a reservation for 8:45pm and finally got seated around 9:05pm. Once we got to the table I found they had forgot a seat for me as well as a plate and napkin. It took 3 different tries to get my waiter to bring that to me. We had been at the table right at an hour before we even received our salads. The chef seemed very annoyed and didn’t really put on a show other than the volcano of onions. Once I finally got my food it was good but I feel like the portions of the meats were very small considering what you pay. There was also another group at our table that didn’t get their rice or chicken until later because not enough was brought out for everyone. Management was very standoffish when confronted with the issues but did end up giving a small portion off our meal. I finally stepped out of the restaurant almost 2.5 hours after arriving at 11:15pm

   Terrible experience for multiple reasons. Here are some: My party of 7 was sat down 40 minutes late. We made a reservation for 7 p.m. and were sat down at 7:40. Hostess said she had no control over the reservations. They sat us down next to a trashy couple who kept making out in front of us and my young kids. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the price.

   We had a 7pm reservation that we arrived early for. We were not seated until 8pm and did not leave the restaurant until 9:50pm. The restaurant was dirty, 2 plates on our table had stuck on food, the edamame was dry. I will say our cook Alexis was amazing and went above and beyond. For our first experience we will not be back.

   The manager was EXTREMELY RUDE!! We waited for a table over 40 mins when we had a reservation at 8:15 and we arrived at 7:50. After having to ask about our table again we finally was seated at a dirty table. The front waiter came with a dirty towel to clean the table after sitting at a table that haven’t been cleaned! Then got mad when I asked to speak with a manager. The African American light skinned heavy set guy with the suit said he was the manager and was very rude . Need to do better with customer service and wait times

    There was a person who was gluten free in our meal. The chef properly made adjustments however the server gave her the salad and soup that wasn’t gluten free and didn’t say anything when handing it to her. Only the chef informed the guest while she was eating the salad. Also we didn’t get seated until after 830 (reservations at 8 pm) and drinks took minimum 20+ minutes to get.
