After ten years of continued success in the New York metro area, Benjamin Restaurant Group is proud to open its newest space, Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. Here, modern elegance is combined with traditional steakhouse classics, while also showcasing signature standouts from highly regarded sister property Benjamin Steakhouse. After perfecting both steakhouse and seafood concepts in their arsenal, Benjamin Restaurant Group is highlighting the grill at Prime, serving up USDA prime dry aged steaks and succulent seafood in unique ways. The 10,000 square foot space houses an expansive main dining room featuring wall mounted fireplaces. A temperature-controlled wine wall is exposed throughout the upper level which also offers five customizable private dining spaces for seating of up to 100+ guests.

    El local está precioso y el ambiente es genial. Tiene la iluminación y música adecuada. La comida es deliciosa, tanto los aperitivos, el plato fuerte, y los postres. Las porciones son grandes, por lo que es una experiencia satisfactoria. El servicio fue lo único que quedó a deber. El mesero principal no estaba muy atento, se le olvidaba lo que le pedíamos, y en varias ocasiones su semblante no era amable, ni mucho menos servicial, más bien parecía que no tenía ganas de trabajar ni de darnos el servicio. Las otras personas que nos trajeron la comida a la mesa bastante bien.

    I wish I could remember the name of our server, because she was very good! We both ordered the prix fix menu, and thought it was a good value for the quality and quantity of food we received. The only complaint —if you want to call it that—was the loudness of the background music. Seems like a soft-jazz might have been more appealing…IMO. OVERALL very nice dining experience.

    I visited with high expectations, having made reservations days in advance from Japan for a New Year's Eve celebration dinner with my family, and was severely disappointed. First of all, the woman who showed us to the entrance was extremely unpleasant and made us feel uncomfortable. She made us sit at a table for two in the hallway leading to the restrooms, and the waiter repeatedly kicked the legs of our chairs. The table was dark and we could not see what we were eating as it was not a dining area. Thus, we did not notice that our porterhouse steaks were overcooked and we tasted bitter burns. This disappointment was irrevocable, as all of my family members had a favorable impression of the restaurant when we visited in 2019, which was quieter, had a better atmosphere, and tasted better than Peter Luger in Brooklyn. I don't think my speaking up here will change anything, but I had to write because my entire family was hurt.

    Had an amazing early New Years dinner. Aldo was our waiter-very polite & courteous. Restaurant had a great ambiance & all remaining staff was extremely friendly.

    Excellent meal! Beautiful night out with my family for the holidays! With 8 people I think we had everything on the menu. Each meal was prepared to perfection. I think the bacon was better than Peter Luger’s. The french onion soup was a hit as was the wedge salad and Caesar salad. Chef prepared the steak and seafood perfectly. Everything was fresh! The staff was friendly and attentive; great wine list and I would highly recommend Benjamin’s. I was not disappointed!
