   Want to compliment our wait person, Liz. She was very accommodating in helping us to decide what to order by explaining our choices. We were early enough for Happy Hour & got half off on glasses of wine. We were celebrating our anniversary & we’re disappointed that we didn’t get a complementary dessert. The table next to us got a complementary birthday dessert. It’s always a treat to dine at Bennethum’s when we are in the area & also to go there for Happy Hour.

   There is never a trip to Bennethums that doesn’t exceed expectations. The wine suggestion on the current menu was wonderful, the Havarti Baked Shrimp and Crab Cake appetizers on point as always. We split a baby back rib dinner and still took almost a half slab home. We never make it to dessert but one day, maybe. The entire wait staff is extremely attentive. Our very favorite Northern Michigan restaurant.

   Benethums is the best around, you will not find a better meal no matter what you order. And the staff is amazing!

   Due to our late night reservation, they were out of them prime rib and highlighted bottle of red wine. Food was good, not sure there was any crab in the artichoke and crab dip but it was tasty. Our steaks were done the way we asked, even when requesting lightly seasoned. Waitress was attentive.

   As I’ve stated many times…. The food is consistently good…. The wait staff (in this case Monica) is always awesome…. And although it’s a little pricey… We find it to be worth it and when family and Visitors ask where to go… it’s one of the first places I mention.
