    Today was the second time of having afternoon tea here and it did not disappoint. I love that they do free sandwich refills and for me the portions are right, largest is sandwiches and small little desserts. Would recommend.

    Food and service as expected from Betty's. Only gripe is prices are a bit high. Perhaps 10% (£4) less per person would be nearer the mark, especially on a quiet Monday afternoon.

    Fantastic afternoon tea and the Rwandan tea is the best I have ever had, and the level of service from Andrea was exceptional.

    We used the upstairs Belmont Room, for our visit today. A lovely experience, reflecting a more elegant age. Staff, food, ambience cannot be faulted. Think we’ll get properly dressed up next time!

    Our afternoon tea at Betty's York was all we expected it to be. We were seated straight away. The pianist was playing the piano and there was a low buzz of conversation. A very pleasant atmosphere. We were served very: efficiently. professionally and friendly by Olivia, Who remained attentive throughout our vist. The food was excellent and as many others did, we enjoyed a top up of sandwiches. As Betty's information stated, we certainly did not leave feeling hungry. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and would certainly go back again next time we visit York
