   So wonderful to see the legacy of Bill Granger continuing to excel. Staff exceptional especially the lady from Adelaide. But always professional and food consistently good.

   Always associated Bills with breakfast or lunch but really relaxed place to have a great dinner experience - easy going yet attentive staff, great food choices made with the care you’d expect from Bills

   I was entertaining clients and was disappointed with the service and food. Our food came at different times. I had to request twice for our order to be taken. My salad came with no dressing and was pretty much all lettuce which was disappointing for almost $30. Overall, a disappointing experience.

   Bit ordinary actually. I’ve dined at Bills in Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Japan and Double Bay, many many times, for dinners and breakfasts. Service today was terrible. Not offered coffee, had to reach out for any ordering, signature scrambled eggs were cold. All orders took a long time. I had booked for two, two weeks before, and was seated at a table for 4? A notable deterioration in service and food. Did not feel welcome. Don’t know why I would ever go back.

   Overall the experience was anticipated. Except for paying the bill. Just as we were settling the bill, we were told there was a 10% 'gratuity surcharge which needed to be added because we were a group of 8 people. Ouch!! Non notice, nothing on any menus - outrageous.
