Part of The Angel Hotel, an old coaching inn in the centre of town, Bill's Guildford restaurant is very pretty. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between, this is the perfect place to take a break from shopping. The lower floor is stunning at night time, with stone floors, archways and vaulted ceilings. It's a real step back in time, complete with twinkling candles and chandeliers. The restaurant also has a private dining room for up to 30 people.

    Usual good service and food at Bills , just wish they would go back to offering 3 OR 5 pancakes in the brunch menu - and they definitely don’t serve as much fruit with them as they used to

    Food was good and definitely stepped up at Bills recently. Price was fair too. Cramped space and the toilets were third world.

    The welcome wasn’t great. We waited in front of the welcome desk in front of staff but they were talking about other things for a while. After a 3 or 4 minutes we got spoken too. The staff were all nice. We got our starters before our drinks and I had to ask if we could get our drinks about half way through our starters. We got one quite quickly, the second one took an extra few minutes. The food was all nice. It was fair value for what it was.

    Food was great and staff friendly, service was a little slow given it wasn’t very busy but overall great food and everyone enjoyed it
