At Bistro de Montcaud, we offer uncomplicated yet perfectly executed cuisine and a place to relax and indulge, whether it’s for a light lunch, a laid-back dinner or a hearty breakfast for our guests. Or how about an aperitif in the shade of the sycamore trees on our beautiful terrace?

Simple yet ambitious -
When you walk into a French bistro, you expect certain things. Just like when you walk into your favourite restaurant, you look forward to well-known menus, your favourite dishes and familiar flavours. We want to meet these expectations – and up the ante with surprising nuances.

Classic dishes and fresh market specials -
The menu at the Bistro de Montcaud also follows our philosophy of “less is more”. It includes classic French fare such as côte de boeuf, a rich bouillabaisse or moules et frites supplemented by specials. For lunch, we also offer a weekly formule, a multi-course menu for a fixed price.

Déception. Déjà venus plusieurs fois, c'est une table que nous apprécions. Le dessert était fantastique. Le vin excellent. Mais le filet de bœuf n'était pas tendre comme devrait l'être un filet. Le service laisse a désirer. En guise de verre de champagne d'accueil nous recevons une petite gorgée au fond du verre alors que les autres tables ont une pleine flûte. Et pour finir mon épouse n'a pas reçu la rose promise pour clôturer ce dîner de Saint Valentin. Décevant mais pas gravissime, on s'en remettra.

Das Essen war sehr fein, ausgewogen, gut gewürzt, abwechslungsreich. Wir bekamen auf Wunsch eine spezielle Vorspeise. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant.

Très bonne cuisine, service attentionné Seul bémol, Dommage (pour le prix aussi) que le cadre intérieur ne soit pas à la hauteur du cadre extérieur (manque de déco, éclairage très blanc...)
