Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Bistro Iberia offers a delightful dining experience with "excellent service" and "authentic Spanish dishes." The paella and shrimp crepes are crowd favorites. The atmosphere is intimate, with charming terracotta walls and occasional live Flamenco performances. It's BYOB, enhancing the unique charm of this restaurant. Highly recommended for a return visit!

Food was delicious, service was Excellent! The Chef even came out to check on us. We went early, 5:30pm so it was a bit quiet but the restaurant is very charming and cozy. Would love to go back on a Saturday night when there is Flamenco and finish my night with an espresso from the beautiful machine they have. I wish them the best!

Excellent dinner with great recommendations from the chef. Completely changed what i decided to eat. Everything that everyone in our party of 4 ate was good. A real gem with fresh food. Big portions and I will gladly be eating leftovers this week.

I had high hopes for this restaurant but was disappointed. The food was good but not great. Gambas lacked flavor and the paella was more like Spanish rice and seafood than true paella (no crusty rice from being cooked in a cast iron pan). Service was not great, very young waiters seemed confused and were not attentive.

Little has been done to upgrade the appearance of the restaurant. The Saturday.night guitarist is no longer, replaced with the loud noise of other tables. There is no front of house hostess or waitresses. Service was spotty and the one “waitress/Busgirl” had no understanding of the menu and could barely remember to bring water. The chef tried to be everything, every where. Not sustainable. The Ala Carte menu is no longer, replaced with an $89.00 three course tasting menu with limited selections. The food continues to be spectacular. My heart is broken, no chance this place makes it through the winter in the Highlands without dramatic changes

Jeffrey our extremely difficult to find, Sevilla trained, American Flamenco guitarist has a life outside of your one Saturday night dining experience and was off to celebrate a life event. We're so excited for him, a big congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. S!! As for your pessimistic prediction of Bistro Iberia's livelihood for the upcoming season.. I suppose breaking your heart all season long through both Fall and Winter as we thrive is a drama you'll just have to endure. Apologies in Advance! Pro Tip: If you leave a review about it being too noisy, you should accurately reflect that in the Noise rating.

My rating is strictly on the tapas bar offerings, which were outstanding. We will return again to try out their dinner menu. The food was super authentic and fresh. The only knick in the evening was their lack of serving staff. But they all pulled together, including their kitchen staff to make for a lovely evening. Amazing!!

Great food and attentive service. Spanish food like you're in Spain. Plus it's a BYOB.

Our first time. My wife and I split the shrimp appetizer and she had the lobster crepe as her main course. I had the lamb. It was all very tasty and original. The cava, bread, and olives helped as well. The service was excellent. The ambiance is not the greatest, but you have to remember how hard this area was hit during Sandy, and the likelihood that it will happen again. We will definitely return.

We were fortunate to be at Bistro Iberia when they had their flamenco singer, dancer and guitarist. It was fun to see and hear. The food was nothing short of spectacular. I had the tuna dish…perfectly and flavorfully cooked. Two other diners had the paella, which they raved about, and our fourth had the garlic shrimp and another delicious appetizer. We finished with flan…all scrumptious! We will definitely return.
