   Was an absolute surprise that Chatswood has a restaurant such as this! It’s hip and experimental and food is very good. Will definitely be back!

   A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the staff were attentive and welcoming. The food was extremely flavourful, highlights would be the wavy short rib, melted in your mouth, the Brussel sprouts were insanely good and the scallops were perfect. We will definitely go back. We sat at the bench opposite the bar, it was nice but next time we will book a table for more space.

   Absolutely fantastic! The service and food were top-notch, and we were more than satisfied with everything. Bistro KAI is simply amazing. Having it here in Chatswood is such a treat — no more need to head into the city for drinks anymore!

    The bistro is very small. The waiting people are right beside my table. The staff looks super busy, but they didn’t give us enough service. The music is so loud! The staff sometimes chat and laugh beside the bar. They only have one iPad for booking and ordering, so you can always see they re crowed in bar doing the iPad. However, when you require something, they just delay. The food is between the European and Asian style. We’re not fan of that. We will not go there again. For this price, we have many choice of better venue.
