    We had great communication before our reservation and was able to bump up our time a smidge on Christmas Eve, after a short wait at the bar once we arrived. The service was impeccable. We were only disappointed that they had run out of the one dessert we were dying to try. The apple éclair was a nice consolation. We definitely plan to go back as we just learned they have a "movie night special" that caught our attention.

    Elegant bistro, the food is stellar (We are French, so we know about French cuisine) and staff is great. Definitely a keeper when in Denver.

    The last time I went here was when it was located in Larimer Square, the new location is not nearly as nice. The food was ok but not the same standard I remember from my last visit. The moules were tasty but gritty. The confit duck and cassoulet was a disappointment, very dry, felt it had been reheated once too often. The steak frites was good but the sauces were not and stone cold. It’s a shame, overall it was ok but not the standard I expected based on my previous experience, and certainly not the same standard as the other restaurants in this group. The service was excellent though, our server was knowledgeable and super attentive without being intrusive.

    The risotto was odd. Couldn’t quite wrap my head around the focus and the pear flavor took over too much. Needed more savory to balance that out.

    We have eaten at several French restaurants over the years in the Denver area. The last time we dined here was when the establishment was located in Larimer square after we returned from France. At that time, the ambience was more classic as well as the dishes. I found the escargot bland with a non-traditional taste. My wife's frites were boring and did not have that "fresh cut" taste. Overall, the menu was limited not that that can always be a detriment to a restaurant. However, for overall value, this French restaurant is not on the top of our list for the future.

    Everything was excellent! The more private room to the left of the entrance was a much nicer experience than the last time we were here.

    The staff were great. We were not rushed. Onion soup was very good. We could have passed on the reclette cheese whiz.

    I was happy to see they are now serving traditional onion soup, instead of the “garlic” version that the chef came up with. It was the highlight of an otherwise terrible meal. I ordered the salmon. The waiter asked if rare is ok, and I said, “no, I want it cooked,” so he suggested medium. It came out raw in the middle and we sent it back. The 2nd version had clearly been microwaved and was dry, rubbery and unedible. My husband had a paper thin burger. We also ordered the pâté. It tasted like salty ham. Had the same rubbery texture as ham. Really sad to see this restaurant going downhill. I really want it to succeed in its relatively new location.
