    This was our first visit to Bistro Vendome, but it won’t be our last. Parking was easy. The restaurant has a comfortable, relaxed, unpretentious neighborhood vibe, with elevated French bistro cuisine. Servers were skillful, knowledgeable, attentive, but we never felt hurried. We were a party of six, handled with ease.Cocktails were creative, the wine list well-curated for the menu. Standards like steak tartare, trout meunière, steak frites were excellently prepared. The bistro also offers entres for two, and we were delighted by the generous chicken tagline, beautifully spiced. Even if you aren’t a dessert person, please don’t miss the superb chocolate soufflé with crème anglaise and pistachio ice cream. Bistro Vendome is a neighborhood gem!

    Great execution. Our reservation was at happy hour and there were some great menu selections at HH price too. Remember to order the dessert Souflee with your entree

    Bistro Vendome is always a pleasant treat. We go there mostly for birthdays and anniversaries, which they always recognize with a card and mentions by the receptionist and the server. It appears they have discontinued comping the dessert as they had in the past. The menu seemed a little more compressed this visit, not quite as many mains. But everything was delicious. The server was very willing to work with us (and the kitchen) to address our allergies, leaving us with wonderful combinations that were unique for us. We went on a Wednesday night -- the place was quite uncrowded, so midweek visits may even be accommodated on short notice. Reservations are essential on weekends.

    There are not enough superlatives to describe our evening. The food and wine pairings were excellent and the creativity of the food presentation added to our enjoyment of the dinner. The pace of the dinner was exactly as you would expect for an upscale French dinner -time to relax between courses without feeling rushed. We are looking forward to the future wine pairing dinners!

    We went to a special wine paring dinner and it was outstanding. The food was served in generous portions and tasted fabulous. WE thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
