   We enjoyed the ambience and wine selection, minus the tipsy table. We ordered the steak frites (they forgot the sauce, realized after meal), coq au van (sadly very dry and overly seasoned/crispy skin, with not enough sauce), the cheese wiz appetizer which was fabulous, and the country pate (it was oddly tough to cut thru). The soufflé was rich and the ice cream was divine. I wanted to love everything but the food was just missing. It was a beat off, but I’ll give it another go. Love the vibe and again great wine selections. Server was very attentive and solid at her job.

   The last time I dined here was in 2013 at the old location. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The ambience and the service matched the meal. I was worried about my expectations being 12 years later and a new location but it is the same outstanding restaurant. I highly recommend!!

   Excellent food, lovely ambience and some of the most outstanding service we’ve had while dining out in many years. Special shout out to Jayden for taking such great care of us.

   We enjoyed a wonderful birthday brunch supported by the excellent service of staff. The food was authentic French cuisine served in a delightful presentation. I would highly recommend Bistro Vendome for an enjoyable dining experience.

   This was the first time we've been to Bistro Vendome since it moved from downtown. It was great, lovely ambience and decor, and great food. I had the rabbit which is rarely available. Wine was excellent . My partner loved his soup. Waiter was very attentive and informative and the atmosphere encouraged a chat with the people at the next table. I could tell that they really appreciated restaurant week as an opportunity to convince diners of their quality.

   Dined here on a Sunday night. Cute restaurant, friendly and efficient service, great variety of choices for starters and entrees. Food was very good. Just FYI, there is a 5% service charge added to your check, which is placed in the food & beverage section rather than further down the check where the sales tax is placed. In order to figure out the tip on the food and beverage, you will need to subtract the service charge first. Ended up tipping 26% overall, but it seems like it would be more customer friendly to place the service charge appropriately, otherwise the customer ends up tipping on the service charge tip.
