We were a little late but thankfully we were still able to sit down quickly. The food was pretty good and the drinks were fantastic as well. We got the jerk chicken for the appetizer and it was really good. The fries that came with it were awesome as well. The beef ribs were amazing, full of flavor. The chicken was pretty solid but very overly seasoned at least to our liking! The waitress was pretty slow from the beginning which was the only real “issue” but we weren’t in a rush so it was fine. Overall a good place!

The welcome was warm, the service attentive and friendly, the space comfortable, pleasantly dim, and quiet enough for a conversation. Everything was prepared beautifully, but the tomahawk steak and deserts did not have spectacular flavor. Very reasonably priced for dinner with such a varied, interesting, and high-quality menu.

Our first time to eat at Black Walnut. Great food, great service at a very fair value for the quality. The attached parking garage was a pleasant surprise. We were very happy with the experience and plan to come again.

This is my second time dining here. I don’t live in OKC, so my first time was four years ago. The menu hasn’t changed since then, which was disappointing. All of our entrees needed salt and they were just ok. We wanted to order two items and both weren’t available, which was disappointing. The restaurant was pretty empty but our group was sat right next to another table in a corner. It felt too cozy when it didn’t have to be that way. All in all, everything was just ok this ⭐️⭐️⭐️.
