Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    This is a great spot for a sunday roast. The desserts and cocktails are excellent aswell. Very friendly staff and service. A great spot all round!

    Excellent Sunday roast experience. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had our ten year old with us and he was made to feel very welcome.

    Excellent!! The atmosphere was cozy, lively and friendly. The Sunday Roast was delicious; they had a sirloin roast special the night we went which was spectacular. The most compelling part of the evening though was the service…EXCEPTIONAL! From the host to the bartender to the waiter- totally committed to ensuring a wonderful customer experience. We live in the USA but will be back at our next visit!!!

    We have nothing but amazing things to say. We had the sharer roast and it was 10/10 even as someone that loves stuffing I didn’t even notice it was missing. The meat was so tender, the roasties crispy and fluffy. Highly recommend, best roast we’ve had for a long time! Also all the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Can’t wait to come back and try the famous cheesecake next time.

    Always love our meals here! We loved the newer starter that they added to the menu, the beef ribs, delicious! Service was fantastic as were drinks
