   Excellent meal and service. Check your bill though! We were charged for 3 bottles of wine when we only had one.

   Very tasty food and a lovely homely feeling plus quick service. The cheesecake is very good too, and was happy to hear the server say “do you want to finish this tray?”, of course we agreed and was left with a very large portion.

   The place was good and the service was nice maybe we went during a bay time but it felt like u couldn’t stay for long. It was very get your food and leave not because the waiters told us to leave but because it was soooo busy we felt like we had to go

   One week in london, the best restaurant we experienced. Got from a friend the recommendation Who say you never fail at the black lock. Excellent food excellent service. Well done !!!!

   We arrived at the restaurant looking forward to enjoying either the Ribeye or the Burger – both of which we had seen on the menu in advance and were excited to try. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were told that they were sold out of both dishes. Given the already fairly limited menu, having two of the main items unavailable was really disappointing and left us with very few appealing options. It’s a shame that the restaurant doesn’t have better control over its stock, especially when these are some of the most popular items. Overall, this contributed to a poor experience for us. It’s unfortunate, because we had high hopes, but not being able to order what we had been looking forward to definitely put a damper on the evening.

   First visit to Blacklock and it certainly won't be our last! Superb from start to finish. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

   We had a fantastic experience. We were late which they didn’t make a fuss about. Service was excellent, was served by John who was very friendly and attentive given how busy it was. Food was excellent, we had the burger, fillet steak, chips, broccoli and walnut salad, plus the Blacklock gravy was one of the best gravy’s we’ve had. Would definitely be going back again.
