Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's. Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

    Great food - but limited options on starter and dessert The amazing meat made up for it! Our waitress was really friendly and helpful - but restaurant was so busy, we sat with empty plates for 15-20 minutes

    Great food with really good service. I’m sure that everyone says it but cheesecake is to die for. Had the sharer with pigs head and crayfish cocktail for starters. Just make sure you leave room for dessert

    The food was scrumptious and great ambience which was relaxing and cozy. The waitress serving us was really friendly and helpful, and she gave us a really big portion of the very famous cheesecake after knowing that we were expecting it! We ordered some chops, a steak, a salad and bone marrow, drinks and a cheesecake for sharing. Overall it was a great dining experience and we highly recommend it!!

    I’m a big fan of Blacklock and have visited several branches many times. First time I order the burger. Assumed it would be amazing coming from a restaurant that specialises in beef. Instead I had an overcooked, dry and tough double patty burger. Would never order again!
