At the heart of Blacksheep burns a large wood-fired, 800-degree oven - the magical flavor of this oven is so compelling that Blacksheep’s kitchen has no fryer, no stove, and you won’t find a pot of boiling water anywhere.

The meatballs and the pizza were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was on the more expensive side for us to do regularly but would definitely go back for an occasion.

The Baller pizza special is excellent and should be part of the regular menu. Great to see Black Sheep experimenting with the menu with new offerings. Columbus is fortunate to have a classy downtown restaurant and the community seems to be responding positively. Black Sheep appears to be busy every night.

2nd time there. Wait staff is terrific. Cocktails/wine options are spot on. Pizzas are great. One in our party had the salmon - pretty good. Ziti will get better, I think.
