A charming pub located right in the centre of St Albans.

It’s the perfect place to stop for a relaxing drink, with its superb selection of cask ales and traditional ciders. You can enjoy great food, at great prices. We also have possibly the best garden around, with plenty of seating and outdoor TV screens ensuring you won’t miss out on any of the sporting action.

Great - we booked at table to watch the football on Sunday afternoon and the staff were friendly and food was tasty.

Opentable reservation had not been received. Not the pubs fault. We booked a table to ensure we could eat on our pit stop back from Oxford. We had to chance getting a table elsewhere.

Though initially we had booked a table online and having been informed on the day of the booking that they would have to cancel due to staffing/chef problems we were later informed that the booking could be honoured. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and service were fine and surprisingly quick considering they were busy. Very satisfied with our visit and experience here.
