    The ambience of the hotel grounds and the restaurant were fantastic. It was very welcoming yet visually pretty. The staff were attentive, personable and humorous. They were knowledgeable and easy to chat to. The menu choices were plentiful and the food was great. I’m looking forward to returning

    Nice food, fresh and well prepared. A bit noisy with the music plus other diner’s chatter, because of the many hard surfaces, which made hearing people on our table difficult. Would benefit from some acoustic ceiling treatments.

    We thought the food was excellent. Cheese croquettes and scallops were as good as we’ve had anywhere. The pumpkin and chickpea main dish was also exceptional.

    We came here for dinner whilst staying at Kyah hotel for my partners birthday. The food was honestly some of the best we have ever eaten and we are real foodies!! We had the croquettes and scallops to start, and the beef cube and pork belly for main with chops and brocollini. Everything really was outstanding. The bar and restaurant area is lovely, the service was amazing and times perfectly. I don’t think there is a better place to enjoy a nice meal in the area and we will go out of our way to make sure we come back here again!

    The food was fine, ambience etc all fine but the service staff were run off their feet as there wasn’t enough of them. As a result service was slow and inattentive.

    We loved Blaq. When the waiter found out it was our wedding anniversary he came back with complimentary champagne which we really appreciated. The ambiance is just lovely - the decor and background music was very stylish. The meals were generous sized servings. Only small criticism was the limited menu options. Neither of us eat seafood and the chicken option was off the menu (sold out?) so we weren’t left with a lot to choose from. Fortunately we both loved our starters and main meals. We were too full for dessert but they sounded delicious. Service was great. Definitely recommend Blaq if you are a local or a tourist.

    The food was beautiful and service excellent. We were a group of 7 with 2 children seated at the banquet table and everything was perfect. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant, it is a very smart venue with beautiful surroundings. The vegetable & herb garden at the back is amazing, worth checking out.

    Absolutely delicious food. Innovative and varied menu. Staff were attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Seating inside and out.
