We had a very positive experience this go around. Food is well priced and good quality. Ambiance was much better with out the live DJ. Service was excellent. We had Misrael and he did an excellent job. We’re glad we gave it another chance and will definitely return.

The food was wonderful. We tried the French dip, the ribeye melt, the Wasatch burger, and the branzino. Loves all of it. Wait staff was very attentive.

Bread was the best thing on the menu. Fries and asparagus were also good. Everything else just mediocre. The steak board lacked presentation. The service from seating to food service was every bit the quality of fast casual and not of a upscaled casual restaurant. I would compare the quality to an Applebees or a Chilis with better ambiance.

Was expecting a little more care and attention based on the social media and price range. We had the bone marrow tacos, bread bowl, steak board and butter cake. Bone marrow tacos were okay - could use more seasoning and why serve three tortillas when you advertise as a romantic date spot. I don’t want to fight my husband for the last one. Bread - tasted great. Came out only slight warm. If you serve straight Serrano honey, the butter doesn’t need to be honeyed too. Steak board - an investment and what I expected to be an experience. Was a sad excuse for a steak board with a boiled filet, sliced dry ribeye and a pork tomahawk. All ruined with a spicy butter that permeated each bite to where you couldn’t taste the meat. The butter cake was dry but tasted good if you got enough sauce and ice cream. The mocktails we had were tasty after you removed the accompanying garnish but the extra charred tableside rosemary was a miss and not a fan of a float of butane on my beverage. The waiter was kind, personable and did put extra effort as it was a birthday celebration. Overall a place I would not choose to spend my hard earned money at.

Mixed bag. Great service. The DJ and loud music wasn’t are jam and made conversation and even simply hearing our server difficult. The mini New York strip dish disappointed with small over cooked cut. Salads and margaritas were on point! Overall for $200 for three people including drinks and tip didn’t feel like strong value.

Food was phenomenal-dessert was the best part for sure! It was a little loud to have conversation if you’re not a louder person. My bestie and I are both energetic and louder speakers and we had a little bit of trouble hearing each other but it was fun nonetheless! Drinks were good, steak was cooked and seasoned well, the Alfredo was cheesy, and they gave us a fire show to melt the steak butter and as a bonus with one of our cocktails. They were attentive to the modifications we needed-removing the bacon from the Alfredo to make it vegetarian.

It was SMOKY and loud. All of our eyes were burning from food smoke. Terrible air quality and ventilation. This ruined our experience. Food portions were extreme….this may be great for some. Not for this family. Glad it was busy and full! I love to support Sugarhouse restaurants as this is my neighborhood since 2005.

I’ve seen BRK in the local eat scene for a while and decided to give it a try. We liked it, but don’t know that we’ll be back. The food was good, but I didn’t see the value for the price we paid. I had the prime rib dip sandwich, which was actually very good, but for $26, it needs to come with more meat. I estimate my sandwich came with maybe 5oz of meat, but that might even be stretch. My kid had the sliders which was a good size portion, but it was literally bun-meat-bun. No toppings, just a side cup of ketchup. Another thing people should be aware of is the noise; this place is LOUD! While I love the idea of having music to add to the ambience, having a DJ crank music at club like decibels, it actually takes away from it. Cool place for a younger crowd for drinks and a bite, but if you’re outside this demographic, or want an opportunity to have a conversation with the people you’re dining with, BRK may not be the place.

The service was excellent, the food was great, the decor and ambience were so much fun, but the DJ was just too loud :( Out party talked in the parking garage for 30 min after dinner because we could finally hear each other.
