   We were visiting San Antonio on vacation and had dinner at Bliss. The food was outstanding, service amazing and the atmosphere delightful. We enjoyed the scallops and red fish for our meal and the butternut squash cheesecake for dessert. All were incredible. If we make it back to the area, dinner at Bliss will be a must.

   Oyster sliders were a little more fishy than a raw oyster and actually came with a bit of a shell. The scallops were fantastic. Red fish was ok. I would recommend the bone marrow which we ordered after dinner. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant given the price point.

   We went for my boyfriend’s birthday, it was a great time. The food was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely be going back.

   Sergi our server was amazing; knowledgeable yet friendly. Knew the wine list and where the wines came from, shared the specials with the price which most don’t do, loved that. When asked about his favorites, he had wonderful recommendations. We had the octopus, grilled to perfection, the arugula salad which was delicious with the goat cheese puréed on the bowl versus in the salad greens. My friend had the red fish which was fast and moist. I had the braised short rib which was a very generous portion over creamy mashed potatoes. The only disappointment was the butter cake, it was good but we should have had Sergi’s recommendation of the Black Forest cake. Oh well- I’ll certainly be back. The outside courtyard on the side was lovely and great ambiance.
