   We have been dining here for years. This meal was terrible. The menu was a chef trying way too hard. We ate from the seafood portion of the menu. The scallops were great the other three dishes were awful. So disappointing for such a beautiful place. Stop over doing every dish and focus on the quality. The fish and the lobster were both undercooked and tasted awful. Be better please, we love the restaurant.

   We went for the Valentines experience and it did not disappoint! 5 courses paired with phenomenal wines, each dish had amazing flavour, even the ones we were a little hesitant to try! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top notch dining experience! We were so excited for the food we forgot to take before pictures of all the courses. I also would like to give a big shout out to the staff and how amazing the service is. We will be back for more amazing times at Block One!

   The $100 per person tasting menu, was a series of 4 small shared plates, as in, we shared each dish. The first course was tasted so strongly of onion, we couldn't eat it so they offered us some saute'd mushrooms instead. The main course was about 2oz of beef with some over-sauced and over-salted vegetables in gravy. We were so hungry when we left. And, we were told that the only reservation available was at 8:15pm but when we arrived, the restaurant was not even half-full. Usually, our experience at Block One is very good, but this event was a big disappointment.

   The Valentine’s Day menu was amazing! The staff were very warm and accommodating! A truly wonderful experience, I will be back soon! :)

   Great place to go. Ambience and service was amazing The water buffalo carpaccio was over the top The smoked strip loin was very flavourful though to be honest it had a little more fat and grizzle than I prefer The desert Banoffee was fantastic To top it all off the Estate Pino Noir was a great choice Thanks again to our server Heather for the great experience

   Where do I start.... This restaurant continuously blows us away - in a very good way! We love to frequent Block One in the shoulder seasons, when things are a bit quieter and tonight's experience was a perfect example of why. First, nothing but raves and kudos for our server. It is such a treat to be looked after by someone who is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and such a penultimate ambassador for the restaurant. The food.....chef's tasting menu....outstanding. Every course was a surprise and a culinary home run The wine pairings were bang on and if you have a chance to try the Unparalleled Pinot Noir, don't miss it. What a special representation of this grape. Old world vibes. Wow. Thank you all for another memorable meal and evening..
