   Second visit. The meal was again perfectly prepared and served at appropriate temperatures. The staff balances professional and personable very, very well, feeling as authentic in their treatment of each other and customers as the food and their sources. The result was, again, a lovely couple's evening.

   Booked here on our way to a concert in Sheffield. We eat out a lot and this was a a definite cut above so many decent but average restaurants. Lovely staff who clearly care and a chef who knows what s/he is doing. The seafood chowder was rich, creamy and delectable. My partner had the ragu and praised its flavour and texture. His chocolate brownie was a highlight - a proper crust and a gooey inside. The (very) boozy cherries it came with were sheer extravagance. We finished with the cheese and left very, very happy.

   Fantastic evening at Bloom! Two steaks & a bottle of Merlot deal was great value. Food was delicious & nicely presented. Service was excellent. And then there was the piano guy, who absolutely made the evening. Whole restaurant was singing along!

   Had a lovely meal here and would highly recommend it, staff very friendly and polite and food was very nice. I had pan roasted salmon and my husband had sea food chowder. Wine very nice too a New Zealand Sauvignon.

   The food was excellent. Our daughter is allergic to dairy, kitchen made her a whole meal from scratch to ensure no allergen contamination, it was really high quality and exceeded our expectations. Thanks again!

    We had a booking for late Saturday afternoon, but the restaurant/bar was already pleasantly busy. We were soon shown to our table - downstairs in the barn end - but service was a bit slow for drinks and taking the food order. There was a lot of activity upstairs (moving furniture) and more chairs and tables being carried upstairs, followed later on by 2 large groups walking through and past our table to go upstairs - all of which was a bit noisy, distracting and detracted from the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the 3 for £10 nibbles - though had to ask for plates. Main course salads were great, but the new 'Trio of 3 veg' left my companion dissatisfied in terms of quantity. Service was attentive overall, though there was no sparkling mineral water available and many things missing from the dessert menu. Apologies were also proffered for mismatching cutlery! But we loved the real napkins and crockery. Overall, it was great, but I wouldn't sit in the barn end again as it was a bit of a noisy thoroughfare for big group events upstairs.
