   We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! The service was a bit slow, however our server apologized for the delay and even offered us some snacks until the main dish was served. We will definitely consider this restaurant for next year, if not before!

   BI’m pled a table for Christmas dinner(meal) for 1.30, it’s was confirmed twice by the restaurant. Was sent the Christmas menu ahead of time. Arrived at the restaurant at 1.30 only to be presented with their breakfast/brunch menus. When asked why we were not given the Christmas meal me us as that was what we’d booked for we were informed that in booking we did. It provide a credit card, we were not asked to. The only thing that they offered to do was ask if we wished to make a complaint to the manager on duty. No way to organize a Christmas meal at that time so we had to chose between buying a MacDonalds meal or getting a Chinese takeaway for our annual celebration meal. As a family we eat at the y Crab for all of our celebrations and we will not be returning there ever again. Absolutely appalling treatment and no customer service at all.

   Expected a special Christmas Dinner as advertised online but all that was offered was their breakfast/brunch menu. Manager apologized and did not charge us for the meal.

   After years of frequenting the Blue Crab, lounge and restaurant, it was disappointing to receive such slow service from a long-term employee who seemed to wish he was anywhere but there. The food as usual was superb but that’s only half the equation. Hospitality is also show business and attentive service is expected at a high end restaurant like the Blue Crab.

   Hotel restaurant with lovely view of outer harbour. Its been there a long time and needs an upgrade but still comfortable. Food was average, lots of seafood as name suggests. Better restaurants in Victoria.

   An excellent place in the harbour area, off the beaten path of downtown restaurants. The view is great summer or winter, the food is excellent, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. No complaints, and we’ll be back again.

   The atmosphere was very enjoyable, the lights on the harbor beautiful. The service was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. The chowder was fabulous.

    We come to Victoria annually to escape the American Thanksgiving chaos and always find ourselves at the Blue Crab for at least one of our meals. My birthday often falls during this time and the staff at the restaurant always makes it special. And this year, scallops were back on the menu!
