   We dined at the Bluefin Grille at the Marriott in Providence. We did have reservations however they probably were not needed since there was only one other other party there. We placed our order and waited and waited and waited for our appetizer, French onion soup. After forty minutes, I asked the waitress if she could bring us some bread. Another ten to fifteen minutes went by and she emerged with the soups and bread. She brought hamburger buns for the bread! What upscale restaurant does that????🫨🫨🫨. We then waited another extended period of time before our entrees arrived-steaks and fish. For dessert we selected their “famous” bread pudding and keylime pie. Though, alas, it was not to be. The waitress informed us they were out of bread pudding. Not surprising since we could not get real bread before dinner-I guess no bakery delivery today. We ordered a dessert selection instead. Overall the food was very good but food is not the only reason we go to a restaurant. Unfortunately, tonight the Bluefin Grille fell short on two very important aspects that make a great dining experience—-service-much too long waiting for our courses.    Food is very overpriced for the quality and quantity received. I would definitely not recommend.

   A very good hotel restaurant. Nice selection of items and those we ordered were prepared well. We say at the bar and the service was wonderful both times. Daria at the bar the first evening made our visit delightful.

   The service was extremely slow, it took us two hours to finish a simple dinner with our kids. In addition the food was terrible, like not edible. Not to mention the price point of the dishes. $16 for some carrot sticks and hummus is insane.

   The food was good, The bartender I think her name was Charly? was fantastic. At one point a group of 12 or more children came in with their parents in the bar area. They were Very loud and the parents were talking over them. We could not even hear ourselves talking. We were out for a quiet dinner at a nice restaurant not visiting Chucky Cheese. So that is the reason for not giving five stars on ambiance and the moderate noise level.

   I have usually found that restaurants inside Marriott hotels are good, especially for the convenience of the team staying there. I decided to book Bluefin Grille for our team on Jan. 10 and unfortunately, it was underwhelming. I had made the reservation through Open Table, and yet the table was not ready when we arrived. The service was very slow; it seemed like there was only one waitress for dinner service, though she was pleasant. The meal was also not impressive - I got the Statler chicken and it was dry, as it was for another team member. Overall, the meal was not what I expected for a restaurant in a Marriott.

   I took my mom there for her birthday! Sunday at 1pm we had reserved. The menu was sparse. I thought there would be brunch but there were no breakfast items. There were an abundance of gnats flying around. We were the only guests sitting at the tables and the service was still subpar. Very disappointing as I wanted to go to this restaurant for brunch but the food was nothing to speak of.
