    Christmas Disaster - Look Elsewhere Our Christmas dinner at Blue Flame was a massive disappointment. We arrived 15 minutes early and, instead of being asked to wait, were seated in a section with no server. After our water glasses were filled, we were completely ignored for 20 minutes. Not a single staff member made eye contact with us or acknowledged us. For a special Christmas dinner, not even receiving a simple “Merry Christmas” was disheartening. My husband eventually got up to find someone, and a server reluctantly agreed to help us. It was clear we were out of her section, and she wasn’t happy about it. She asked if we wanted drinks, but we hadn’t even been given a drink menu. By the time she returned, we had already eaten the Caesar salads she had taken the order for earlier. The drinks were great, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The server then insisted on taking our main course order right away, claiming a “large party” might cause us to be forgotten again. Even then, we waited another 30 minutes. My husband’s water glass sat empty for so long that I eventually refilled it myself. No one seemed to care about us. Finally, we had enough and went to speak with the manager. She apologized and offered to comp our meal, but the damage was already done. We decided to leave and ended up at Cast and Crew, where the staff was gracious, attentive, and kind. They wished us a heartfelt “Merry Christmas” multiple times, served delicious food promptly, and turned our night around. If you’re looking for a place with good service and staff who care, skip Blue Flame. There are far better options.

    Lamb was excellent, kitchen had no mint jelly, mashed potatoes was a small portion, green beans excellent. No bread served with expensive meal. Dessert which was gingerbread was dense and tasteless.Two of us went for Christmas and bill with each one of us having one drink was over $200. Ambience ok but will not go back. Chris Port Orange

    This was on Christmas day had the swordfish with supposedly garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Not a picky eater but the fish was dry the potatoes had not a lick of butter or cream added to them and the beans were barely cooked. For dessert we had what was supposed to be eggnog cheesecake what looked like a normal slice split in two. 1 crown royal with a large round ice cube 18.00 1 old fashioned 15.00 bill with tax and tip over 200.00

    We went for Christmas lunch/dinner. I researched who was open Christmas Day. Their menu offering sold me. Kim provided excellent service. Food and drink were fabulous. We will go back in the future. Thanks Blue Flame!

    Our server was very nice but it took some time to get our drink orders and it seemed as if there was not enough staff (not her fault). Basically, the fish dishes my companions had were good, except for the green beans were too undercooked for them. My ravioli is the biggest reason for the average review. It was SWIMMING in olive oil. They should never have sent it out of the kitchen in that state and asked for that price. We had a pleasant time but will choose another venue next year for Christmas Eve.

    Everything was excellent. Food was exquisite. I recommend the mushroom raviolis with shrimps. Our server, Ary, was great. We had a wonderful time!

    Overall, we had a good experience. The bar is great! The ambiance is great! Service was good but they seemed a bit short-staffed so I think normally service would be great. I ordered a salad which was nothing extraordinary (it was a salad after all) but it was fresh and sized appropriately for an entree salad. My husband ordered the fish sandwich and enjoyed it immensely. He said the fries were some of the best he’s had. We’ll definitely return.

    We had Thanksgiving dinner today...my sister had Braised Short Ribs...excellent...I had traditional turkey dinner ...great!!! Mason was our server...he is the BEST!!! Great holiday experience!!!
