   The best HH! Even on Christmas Eve! We’ve been here several times. Never disappoints! The trout dip and calamari are the bomb! Service is superb!!

   Always enjoy the food and service. We went in last night for the $1.31 Oysters, we ordered 12 and the cost was over $40 total. No one let us know that the offer is not for all Oysters. It is a great promotion but they need to be clear with their patrons.

   Food was good, service was OK. Good value. Interesting take on standard cocktails...love the truffle salt on the Martini.

   We like the selection of Oysters. It’s fun to select different locales and flavor profiles. The Spanish octopus was a unique appetizer and very good. Ashleigh did a great job taking can of use. Great Date Night!

    I had high hopes for Blue Island, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the space itself was inviting and the staff courteous, the food left much to be desired—especially given the restaurant’s premium pricing. To start, we were seated next to the host stand, which wasn’t my preference, but the place looked pretty full; our server brought menus and drinks without delay. The menu boasted a variety of options, with a focus on seafood and steak. However, we were informed that both the filet and shrimp were unavailable that evening. While not a deal-breaker, it was disappointing to see key items unavailable. For appetizers, we chose a variety of oysters, and the crab spinach dip. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, easily the highlight of the first round, and a good start to the evening. The crab spinach dip, however, was fairly average and didn’t leave much of an impression. For the main courses, we selected a half order of stuffed lobster with frites, swordfish, and side dishes of roasted rainbow carrots and crispy Brussels sprouts. Sadly, the sides were the most enjoyable part of the meal. The Brussels sprouts were well-seasoned and perfectly crispy, and the frites were satisfying. But the lobster was overcooked and rubbery, the swordfish bland and similarly overdone, and the rainbow carrots were surprisingly undercooked and crunchy. Feeling unsure of my own assessment, I asked my girlfriend for her thoughts, and she shared my disappointment. For a restaurant that positions itself as a high-quality dining destination, the execution of the dishes was underwhelming, and the prices felt unjustified. On the positive side, the restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. However, that alone isn’t enough to bring us back. With the inconsistency in the food, it’s hard to justify a return visit. I truly wish the experience had been better, as it had so much potential.
