Our visit was for a special ocasión-a birthday party. And, our experience was special. Blue Moon is a very sophisticated restaurant with deliciously prepared food served with finesse and impeccable timing and style.

Drinks were great. Kathryn took great care of us. She has a wonderful outlook on life, and made us feel very welcome. Loved the pictures of Liberty. The food was good, just need to work on the vegan selections. Overall very nice night. We will be back.

All three courses were superb - baked oysters, lobster carbonara and chocolate beignets. The wines were perfectly matched and relatively high quality. The excellent and fast service was a bonus

Excellent service by someone who was on his first day at the restaurant. Great food. We were a little worried that the people at the table next to us were going to talk politics the whole time but they stopped at some point.

The Blue Moon has the best off-season weekly specials. We were able to combine a great happy hour with the Monday night special of $39 dinner for two. There were 6 of us, so we shared a lot of appetizers before dinner. The stuffed shrimp and pasta bolognese were a hit, as well as the Autumn salad, burrata salad, and fried green tomatoes.

This was our first visit to Blue Moon, it was outstanding. We went there to celebrate our anniversary, and we wanted someplace special, Blue Moon definitely fit the bill. Our server, Douglas was friendly, efficient, engaging, and an all-around delight. The food was phenomenal. The fried green tomatoes as an appetizer were a winner. Highly recommend Blue Moon. We will be back.

Not a great experience from start to finish. Very awkward booth that really didn’t have enough room for our party of four. We were moved to a different booth that was a little better, but not great. Still cramped. And the music/piano bar was loud and off key. Finally the food was pretty mediocre for the prices here. I will not be going back.A friend told me that the chef has recently left, so perhaps that is part of the problem.

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your experience. Located in a 100+ year old house, we realize some of our seating options are not ideal. I am happy, on our busy $29 filet mignon night, we found a table that would work for you. Should you want to give us another try, rather than take it upon yourself, please let a member of our staff know you would like an adjustment to the fans and temperature. Information from your friend that our chef left recently is inaccurate. We are proud our countless awards attributed to our consistent culinary team that has remained unchanged for 6 years.
