Blue Plate Oysterette was inspired by East Hampton summer lobster bakes and mouthwatering lunches at Montauk’s favorite roadside eateries. With influences like Pearl Oyster Bar and Mary’s Fish Camp in New York, Oysterette serves lunch and dinner seven days a week with a menu straight out of the seafood shacks you find on the East Coast. Chunky, overflowing lobster rolls, buckets of steamed clams in broth so flavorful that bread demands to be dunked, clam chowder, mussels in broth, ceviche, and raw shellfish so fresh you can smell the ocean. A great experience all around! Enjoyed a wide variety - raw oysters of course! Which came with a glass of bubbly on Tuesday. Hand rolls variety. Crab cake and can’t miss the lobster roll. We added the “added ammo” of extra lobster and shared the single roll. It was delicious. I’m an east coast gal and know my crab and lobster and this place was well done! Service was excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. I’d advised we were in town to celebrate our 24th anniversary, and they had a special table set up - cozy corner with excellent sunset view and heaters. So nice! Highly recommend and will come again.

Excellent, fresh seafood. The best sashimi ever..melts in your mouth. Shared Branzino and fries. Cozy and warm in the back porch. Great service.

Food is excellent as always, I really like this place - the service is somehow half hearted, had the feeling of not being taken care of or being welcome. Cocktails are definitely too expensive for the quality and presentation

Very disappointed in the food portions and quality. We paid $75 for Market Price lobster that had .25 lb of meat. The avocado salad was gross and the lettuce was old. Regret booking this for my boyfriend’s birthday.
