Blue Sail Restaurant is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas. The Restaurant and Bar is a Shabby Chic Casual dining Mediterranean French fusion restaurant overlooking the Sandyport Beach with spectacular views over the water. It boasts one of the islands most spectacular views. The restaurant offers a combination of casual chic with delectable dishes with views of the ocean. Pizzas from the wood burning oven and local Bahamian favorites are also offered. On the Beach you will find our new Sushi Kitchen with all your favorites and more. The 360 degree Bar is the ideal place for sun-downers.

Blue Sail is one of the only restaurants in West Nassau with beach access. As a local, I go here fairly often, more in the summer months. Each time I go I have to remind myself that I’ll wait too long for food, will have to help myself to drinks at the bar, will have to be careful ordering certain things on the menu cause some stuff is plain bad. I always leave a bit disappointed. The food is meh, the service is slow. The views are why we keep going back when we have visitors in town. Go for a drink and pizza. If Blue Sail invested in better food, service, and a refresh of the tables and decor and bathrooms, if they put more thought and care into the music and the guest experience, it would be my go-to every weekend and a place I’d gladly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant, overall a great experience however we all ordered the lobster and it was very overcooked. The restaurant was great at accommodating for the error and took some off of our bill. We will definitely come back and try again.

There wasn’t a hostess and it took a bit for us to be acknowledged and seated. I had the Tuna Lover’s Roll and it was alright. Another person ordered a mushroom burger which came out rare rather than medium well as requested. They remarked that they did not like the taste. It lacked more flavor. Another person ordered the ribs and liked it. The wait time for the food wasn’t long and the drinks were good. Also, I loved the ambience! It’s beach front and chill. I would come back just to sit at the bar, order drinks and chat but not to dine in for food.

I left the restaurant with bug bites on me from bugs flying around us while we ate. Everyone there was being bothered by the bugs as well.

I just dined at Blue Sail a few days back and was absolutely SHOCKED by how good it was, even compared to food found in the U.S. We mostly found very expensive restaurants in Nassau and the food was quite average or even below average, where the fish was not fresh and salt was covering up all the flavors. I will be recommending Blue Sail to anyone visiting the area. Beautiful ambience and view of the beach and sunset, lovely waiters, great drinks, delicious food, AND very decently-priced overall. It was a short 20-minute walk from our airbnb, I could not have been more pleased 😊. I was sad to only find out about this place during the last few days of our trip or we would have dined there all the time!

The view is amazing, one of the most beautiful. We got pizza and wings, very very good. It was incredibly hot, so we sat in AC, still had the view and a nice room. Waitress was nice really great piece of tiramisu.
