Bluegrass is a casual restaurant located in Highland Park. With a cozy setting nestled into the west side of town it is a true destination dining location. Complete with a warm friendly bar and an American flare, Bluegrass blends in a little Southern influence into its repertoire. The wine and beer selections are all American, along with a full back bar, all hand selected to echo the quality of the fare. Aside from a beautiful setting, the restaurant has extraordinary food and service with a remarkable value.

    Food was absolutely delicious. We had the ribs and shrimp with grits and sausage. Service was excellent. We’ll be back again.

    Bluegrass was a pleasant surprise. Great variety on menu and the waitress explained options well. Met the owner Joanie and manager tableside checking on us and learning about each other. Bar service good with Hurricane and ale. Our party of two dined on pulled pork sandwich, Rémoulade Salad topped with lump crab and added a serving of fried crawfish. Delicious! Tried the shot of Gumbo and was not disappointed. Finished with gifted serving of Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. Going back to try more southern menu choices.

    Always good food, friendly service! It was my bday and they went out of their way to make it great. Love Bluegrass and it’s our go to restaurant always.
