   There was no atmosphere for a Christmas Day celebration. The odd Christmas tree was placed around but no other decorations to be seen. The food was obviously pre cooked and sitting around for a while. A lot of people left food like we did and one couple said the desserts were inedible. The staff were great and tried their best but the food was sadly lacking.

   Booked the table Christmas eve said there were only 2 tables left but it was empty. Except for kids running around. Hubby had steak which was cooked the was he likes. I had a steak cooked a little to much. Very large portions. The waiter's seem lost in what they are doing. If you ask 1 waitress a question you end up with 3 standing around your table tring to answer it. Very nice icecram bar for kids but no real dessert for adults.

   Location lovely where I decided to take my sons and partners out for Christmas Eve 5 off us plus my grandson, The food was terrible 3 off us ordered steaks gristly and fatty , 2 ordered parmies over cooked dry even the chips was as well . Ordered two soft serve ice creams help your self at selection of flavors and sweets which we was given a couple of bowls ,when we went to the self serve ice cream after meal !!waiting staff hassled and questioned us as if we was thieves when we asked for another replacement bowl as grandson put his hot chips in them !! Just spent $400 on terrible food and the staff was more concerned about we might of got a extra bowl of ice cream , for a national wrestpoint casino we found the whole experience at the bistro boardwalk appalling and will never return

   We had a family dinner here just before Christmas. The food was tasty overall and it is great if you can get Federal Rewards vouchers to save money. Overall a great venue with a lovely water view.

   We always have a good meal at the boardwalk, the only criticism perhaps they could change the menu a bit , but always great food

    VENUE: Lively, comfortable, plenty of space and a lovely view of the waterfront. FOOD: Quickly prepared, delicious, filling and dutifully presented. SERVICE: One of the staff was pretty rude to us, but the rest of the staff more than made up for it with their patient, helpful and respectful attitude. SUMMERY: I would highly recommend the Boardwalk Bistro to my friends and colleges despite some negative parts of the experience.
