Bocca Di Bacco is a New York City Restaurant Group establishment from dynamic restaurateur and New York native Robert Malta, who owns nearly a dozen restaurants throughout the city. “I’ve been in the business 25 years,” Malta says. “I opened the first Bocca Di Bacco in Hell’s Kitchen in 2007 and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. The Chelsea location is an evolution of what we’ve been offering. There are new menu items, and a more refined look and feel, but it’s still a great spot for the neighborhood any night of the week.”

We had the loveliest Thanksgiving dinner at Bocca. Would highly recommend. Not far from the Highline. Great service. Food was excellent.

No food after waiting 90 minutes. Other tables waiting for 2 hours without a meal. Chaos in the kitchen. Avoid.

Waited over 2 hours for our main course. We ended up just taking the check and leaving before they were ready. And then they tried charging us for the dinners we didn’t eat. Not a great experience, no empathy for the wait.

We sat at the bar for a quick meal. The basil cocktails were amazing and the beef carpaccio as well. The carbonara was good, but not great because it was not really warm. Overall though, we enjoyed the experience and would come back.

I had my birthday brunch here and the whole table had a phenomenal time. Food was delicious, service was stellar (shoutout Noel), and the ambiance was excellent.

OVERALL, VG. but the desert portion was, almost literally, just one forkful- know t was a pre-fixe menu BUT give a decent size desert please

On the one hand, I really appreciated that I was able to make a reservation for a large group through Open Table! On the other hand, it seems like they may have overbooked themselves with large parties— it took 45 minutes to get our first round of drinks, over an hour to get our food order taken, and we didn’t get our food until over 2 hours after sitting down. The food was great and I could see the staff working extremely hard but the experience would’ve been better if the service had been more timely.
