   service was extremely slow as it it took 40 minutes to get water and 50 minutes to get our drink order even though the restaurant was not packed

   My girlfriend and I had a Valentine’s Day reservation 7:30pm. We got seated and not a single staff ever approached. No gretting, no water, no nothing. I was waving my hand trying to get the attention to staff so we could get some service but no one came over. After 30 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave because of how disappointment we were. We tried to talk to the manager before we left but apparently he was too busy to come talk to me albeit the experience my girlfriend and I had. Won’t be coming back here again.

   I was extremely disappointed when I walked into the restaurant. I had gone there before and it now has plywood tables and plywood wall walls going around. It was more like a family restaurant changed from what we had experienced in the past. I don’t know if they suffered damage from the hurricanes. We were greeted and brought over to a table. It was after we sat there for quite a few minutes, and no one ever came over, we decided to leave.  I’m not saying the food isn’t good. I hadn’t tried it this time. It was good last time. We were there maybe a year or two years ago. Overall, not the experience we were looking for, for the prices on the menu.

   We had an absolutely fabulous experience at Bodega Ole. The authentic Spanish food was delicious. We had croquettes, drunken figs and Spanish meatballs along with seafood paella and meat paella. All were delicious. The cocktails were expertly made and equally delicious.

   We visited during Happy Hour. Prices were quite reasonable. However, the service was timid and without any enthusiasm. The tapas seriously lacked flavor or seasoning.

   Only reason I said it was loud as cause there was a band playing when we were there, but I actually enjoyed it and if you ask for a table away from the stage, it’s really not that bad. It’s a great place. Everyone should try it.

   Singer was too loud. Could not have conversation with friends while eating due to singers volume. Music or singer either dinner is nice but it should be soft and in background , not overwhelming.

   Bad octopus on the paella, we complain and they basically dismiss the complain, they did discounted the octopus from the check.

    Place is dark, dingy and nearly empty at 5 pm. Food is nothing to rave about. Expensive. Entrees were outrageously priced. I had 2 small tapa bowls (a few small meatballs in red sauce and potatoes with sauce) and tap water. $25 with tip. I won’t return.
