   Food was mediocre at best. Close to theaters so convenient. Liked the specialty cocktails. Good just ok.

   We enjoyed the food which came out very quickly. Our server was great. We indicated it was our wedding anniversary and got seated near the kitchen looking at a wall and listening to dishes most of the night. Food is a bit overpriced but was tasty. I would skip the $10 garlic bread, was underwhelming.

   Good price fixe menu for lunch. Food was delicious. Waiter service could be better. But they do not rush the diners out the door after their meal which is great.

   Our dinner reservation was for 4:30pm to make the 7pm Broadway play. As we had arrived, there was a line at the check in desk. Apparently there were some technical issues with the iPad, and they couldn’t check in the patrons, hence, the long line. The issue was promptly resolved and we were led to our table in the restaurant’s downstairs section. The downstairs was pretty empty as it was still fairly early to receive the pre-theatre crowd. We were some of the first ones to arrive. There were plenty of tables with banquettes but we were given a table with two chairs at which point I asked to be re-seated since there was so much availability for a cozier experience. The hostess told us that she’d ask the manager but that it was a very busy place. Her response was not convincing at all. I was there with my 21 year old son who was here on a winter break and wanted this to be a nice experience and didn’t want to make a scene but was super annoyed at how the situation was mishandled. She later checked in with us to see if anyone approached us in resolving our issue which no one had. At that point I just dropped it; our server was very sweet and friendly and I didn’t want to be bothered. However, I will not return as I found nothing special about the food or the ambiance and to experience this type of runaround for these prices, it is simply not worth it. There are too many great restaurants in the city; no need to put up with this level of service.

   The food was good. The service was not good. Got to the restaurant five minutes prior to my noon reservation. We placed our order right about the time of the reservation. We didn’t receive our appetizers for 20 minutes, and our entrées did not appear until one hour after we placed the order. You have to have your food in less than hour for a lunchtime meal. To make matters worse we were approached and had it explained that the food takes 20 minutes to prepare. When I asked what happened because it had been 50 minutes at that time, I was told we didn’t place an order when we got to the restaurant. I do not like to be gaslit. This was unacceptable. I would not say this is the experience of everyone because the tables around us seem to be getting their plates just fine.

   Bond 45 was amazing! We sat at the bar, our bartender Ava was so nice and professional. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely eat here again next time we visit NYC!

   Bond 45 is a nice option for Italian food in the heart of Times Square. It's a large, noisy restaurant, but the ambience is nice. Our waitress was friendly and super-accommodating. We ordered right away, explaining we had tickets for a show in an hour and 15 minutes. Our food literally came out in 5 minutes! I was extremely impressed by this. It gave us more than enough time to chat and have dessert. I had the petite sole -- the fish was wonderful. My friend had their house special lasagna, which is like a roulade, and also enjoyed her dish.

    My daughter and I dined and we both really wanted to like it. The place is a lot bigger than you initially think once you head downstairs. It was pre-theater crowded and we expected as much. The entire experience was average . We ordered the calamari to start and ravioli and the rigatoni a la vodka. The rigatoni was a disappointment - not much better than jarred sauce which was a bummer. The ravioli were better but still pretty bland. Calamari were tough and chewy . We felt like we really should have just ordered a pizza instead. At the end of our meal, a group began to sing and it was awkwardly LOUD! We were grateful to be settling up by then because we couldn’t hear one another. The servers and bar all looked rushed and backed up but coming from a resort town we really sympathize with the staff during busy times. We had reservations and I appreciate the hosts seating us very promptly over the crowd of walk-ins that had started to form.
