   The ambiance is probably the best thing about this place. A lovely open room with high ceilings by the water that still manages to feel cozy and stylish. The service was also top notch as usual. The menu had so many appealing choices. The cocktail I had was delicious. We loved all of our food - kale salad, hamburger, lamb, halibut and raspberry sorbet...except for my bacon and pea risotto that was truly unappealing visually, cold and without taste. A down note on an otherwise totally fabulous night..

   Our starters were great and tasty. However Mussels were overcooked in a VERY mild tasteless coconut sauce. We should have sent this dish back but did not. Very disappointing. Very noisy inside in the dining area. The waiting persons were very polite and helpful

   Had a nice early dinner with my mom. It was a beautiful day and we had a very nice early dinner from the happy hour menu.

   We had a wonderful time at Boom and Batten. Our server was excellent…help us select a wonderful local Merlot to go with our fabulous Halibut and Sable Fish topped off by two lovely deseerts. Highly recommend Boom and Batten.

   Always great. I really like the Zero wine instead of 0-beer. Don’t know of any other place that offers 0 white wine.
