About this restaurant

  • Dog-friendly
  • Great for outdoor dining
  • Great for creative cocktails
Boozehounds Palm Springs was established in 2020 and has served as a go-to restaurant for dog owners from LA, San Diego, Coachella Valley, and beyond.
Boozehounds was started by friends for one simple reason… they loved dogs and dreamed of owning a place where people could take their pups, enjoy an awesome cocktail or fab meal, and socialize in style. Making sure the pup was the real VIP of course! Choose from the sexy and stylish dining room and lounge facing the gorgeous San Jacinto mountains, dine in the open-air atrium, or enjoy the picturesque vacation vibes at the cabana bar and patio. Who doesn’t love a little mai tai moment?
Both the Atrium and Patio are dog-friendly zones and offer water bowls and a pup-friendly menu. Please note all indoor spaces are human only.

Very average. The menu is somewhat interesting. Service was attentive but not accurate. Asked for a soft drink with a lemon. No lemon. Had to ask twice. Asked for scrambled eggs with a dark color, but the eggs came regular. Asked for a fruit substitute for grits. No fruit delivered. Asked for onions in scrambled eggs, but the eggs came without onions. Had to wait for fried onions to catch up. Eggs Benedict was interesting, but small portion and pork belly was tough. Polite staff. They can take orders, but they can't deliver the orders they take. Capacino was excellent.

The atmosphere was beautiful. We were seated as a table of 5 at a table that probably needed to be for only 4 people. The restaurant was not busy so it seemed odd to be sat at such a small table. Which also was the reason we held off on ordering more food, like appetizers. The server tried to accommodate with allergies and specific requests, however, the food came out incorrectly 2 times. We decided to let it go and not have it changed for a 3rd time. The drinks were fantastic. My poke “fancy toast” was alright. It did lack some flavor. I do think the server was unable to provide consistent service as she has multiple large parties. There are lots of places in Palm Springs to try so I am not sure I would return. Maybe if I lived there I would try again. Every restaurant deserves a second chance. Overall, it’s worth a try. Some of the food was delicious and the drinks are fabulous.

It was average. The drag show made conversation difficult

I just love this place! It was such a fun place for Mother's Day brunch. We were able to bring our dog and sit outside in the atrium. The staff treated us (and our overly excited pup) extremely well. Gave our dog water and treats. Lots of menu options for diners of all appetites. We will be back!

I’ve been here for brunch and it was great. The ambiance and Instagram vibes are chefs kiss, but the food and overall service for dinner was lackluster at best. Expensive, food was under seasoned, vegetables weren’t trimmed properly, the server was inattentive and slow, and it took forever although it wasn’t very busy. Drinks are delicious though!

We ordered the fancy toast with poke and it smelled quite fishy so we sent it back and ordered the spam quesadilla and it was just ok greasy to eat. Also the benny was tasty but not well cooked and left me wanting way more to eat

The place is super cool! The drinks could be a bit more diverse, there are a lot of spicy and smoky options. The food, well, I was really excited about it, but I was a bit let down. For all the rave reviews, the food experience wasn’t really special. Front desk host didn’t really seem like she cared much about the guest and didn’t really give great seating options.

Drinks were tasty but a bit on the weak side for the price! Nice unusual array of sharable appetizers for non meat eaters. And a great view of the mountain to boot!

The food was underwhelming, but ambiance was fun. There was a slight smell indoors though.
