About this restaurant

  • Dog-friendly
  • Great for outdoor dining
  • Great for creative cocktails
Boozehounds Palm Springs was established in 2020 and has served as a go-to restaurant for dog owners from LA, San Diego, Coachella Valley, and beyond.
Boozehounds was started by friends for one simple reason… they loved dogs and dreamed of owning a place where people could take their pups, enjoy an awesome cocktail or fab meal, and socialize in style. Making sure the pup was the real VIP of course! Choose from the sexy and stylish dining room and lounge facing the gorgeous San Jacinto mountains, dine in the open-air atrium, or enjoy the picturesque vacation vibes at the cabana bar and patio. Who doesn’t love a little mai tai moment?
Both the Atrium and Patio are dog-friendly zones and offer water bowls and a pup-friendly menu. Please note all indoor spaces are human only.

Very good service and good. However, there were 4 bachelorete parties. The noise was ridiculous and our table was in between them.

It was an awful dining experience. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive at our table. Our food was out in 20 minutes, but when we asked for additional condiments, those never arrived either. The server said they only had one bartender, and seemed pretty confident with his subpar service as well. We ate a few bites of food that arrived lukewarm, without dressing, hot sauce, and other items that should have come with our meals. No apologies, just blamed it on a holiday weekend. It wasn’t super busy.

Incredibly slow service! Took us over 40min to order and they never came back around to ask if we wanted more drinks. The food was pretty decent, the atmosphere was great but the service leaves me issuing a bit of caution unless you’ve got time to kill.

Service was extremely slow and it was hard to get the servers attention when after we got our food and needed simple things like salt and pepper and sugar for our coffee. The restaurant was cute but the food and service did not make it worth it.

I really wanted to like this place. TikTok hype and a Michelin Guide mention had my expectations high. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food? Disappointing doesn’t even begin to cover it. Not only was the flavor completely off, but the presentation was so unappetizing it felt like a bad joke. I’ve genuinely never had a meal this poorly executed. It blows my mind how this place got any recognition at all. Don’t believe the hype. There are plenty of spots in the city that deserve your time, money, and taste buds—this just isn’t one of them.

Very average. The menu is somewhat interesting. Service was attentive but not accurate. Asked for a soft drink with a lemon. No lemon. Had to ask twice. Asked for scrambled eggs with a dark color, but the eggs came regular. Asked for a fruit substitute for grits. No fruit delivered. Asked for onions in scrambled eggs, but the eggs came without onions. Had to wait for fried onions to catch up. Eggs Benedict was interesting, but small portion and pork belly was tough. Polite staff. They can take orders, but they can't deliver the orders they take. Capacino was excellent.

The atmosphere was beautiful. We were seated as a table of 5 at a table that probably needed to be for only 4 people. The restaurant was not busy so it seemed odd to be sat at such a small table. Which also was the reason we held off on ordering more food, like appetizers. The server tried to accommodate with allergies and specific requests, however, the food came out incorrectly 2 times. We decided to let it go and not have it changed for a 3rd time. The drinks were fantastic. My poke “fancy toast” was alright. It did lack some flavor. I do think the server was unable to provide consistent service as she has multiple large parties. There are lots of places in Palm Springs to try so I am not sure I would return. Maybe if I lived there I would try again. Every restaurant deserves a second chance. Overall, it’s worth a try. Some of the food was delicious and the drinks are fabulous.
