Chicago’s favorite cabaret & cocktail bar. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Bordel, the Wicker Park cocktail bar and cabaret that has redefined Chicago nightlife through its unique fusion of performance art, live music, and craft cocktails. Since its inception, Bordel has created a space where provocative entertainment, live jazz and creative cocktails converge, becoming a landmark in the city’s cultural landscape.

From the start, Bordel made a point to not only welcome global and avant-garde acts, but to first support and showcase the very best talent in Chicago. Bordel’s stage has featured many of the city's top studio musicians and producers, up-and-coming artists and spectacular limited-run shows. Bordel’s long standing cabaret shows were originally hosted by world-renowned burlesque performer Miss Tosh, Vaudeville by Sally Marvel and AJ Sacco, and are now curated by the inimitable Shimmy LaRoux.

Join us for an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration at BORDEL! Chicago’s favorite cabaret & cocktail bar will be ringing in the New Year with two incredible burlesque shows produced by internationally recognized Shimmy LaRoux and local Chicago DJ throughout the night. Show times set at 8 PM and 10 PM. All guests will be charged $75 per person upon booking; the $75 charge will be used as a deposit towards your final bill. Please note that Party Booths are near the DJ/Bar area and have restricted views of the stage. All reservations come with a complimentary glass of bubbles. All charges are final and do not include Bordel's 18% service charge. Reservations before 9:30 PM will have a 2-hour table enjoyment period.

If you are interested in seeing the show up close and personal please be sure to book a "Stage View" reservation. STAGE VIEW TABLES- A $10 PP cover charge will be added for all guests seated in our Stage View table area. This cover goes towards entertainment. By booking and or being seated in the stage view table area, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this charge. Please note that shows generally end by 11:00 PM. When booking a Stage Seating table after this time you will not be charged the Stage Seating fee. Drinks were decent our server was very nice but overall we ran into a lot of complications with our booking for the show and that was disappointing because we were there to celebrate a birthday.

The Bordel is a grown and sexy hang. The craft cocktails are top notch and the service / look of the place is definitely velvety. This is a place not to be missed especially with people you love.

Had a great time. Burlesque show was very entertaining. Everyone had a great attitude and provided excellent service. Five stars for Erin for going above and beyond in handling our back to back reservations on Friday and Saturday. We'll definitely be back.

We’ve visited several times and had a great experience. On this occasion, the entrees were never delivered. There wasn’t really an attempt to ameliorate because they apparently had the next round of reservations and needed the table. Well, they removed the apps from the bill but still left hungry so went next door to eat. Probably an anomaly but obviously not a good experience.

We booked to be able to see the show. Apparently you have to do something on open table to get special seats that are show view. We had a group of ten with intentions of having dinner there. The seating configuration would not allow for that. The staff tried hard but there was a big disconnect between our online experience and in person experience.

The service was outstanding as always, the server who serve us at show tables was fantastic. Then went to the bar, my wife asked if we can sit by the empty booth tables, the bartender went out of his way to make us comfortable! He was very attentive and provided great service!!
