Our wine cellar private dining room is a beautiful stone room constructed with local stone from Milverton, Ontario. The room seats a maximum of 24 guests (we do have options for larger groups, see below). Special prix-fixe menus are available and can be tailored to your group's preferences and needs. Room contains a large flatscreen TV for presentations with HDMI hook up and mac adaptor. Our Tom Thomson Dining Room is also available to book out for private functions and features a brand new 16:9 100" HD Projector screen with full AV capabilities for special meetings or events. Room seats a max of 80 people. Please contact the restaurant for more details!

We were disappointed in our experience this time. The turkey vegetable soup was poor and several others found their food bland. I thought my chicken club was ok but overpriced and an additional charge for a few pieces of lettuce and 3 cherry tomatoes added to that impression. The service was slow as well.

The service was great. The boar ragu was meh while the buttermilk chicken was pretty good. The place is nice but doesn’t make a lasting impression.

My family had supper at Borealis last evening. We had three different dishes and all were delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. We recommend saving room for dessert which is always yummy. We tried the chocolate tort this time. It disappeared in record time!

Food was awesome. I had the chicken supreme which never disappoints Hubby had the turkey burger and said it was one od the best he's had Definitely recommend this place

Nice date night. Didn't have kale for kale Caesar and sub mixed greens which did not work at all :( Server was very pleasant but service was a tad slow. Enjoyed our day night

The experience was uneven. When we entered the lobby, there was no one there, so I had to find someone to seat us. There was some delay while this was organized. Once seated, we were ignored until I signaled to a waitress. Even though she was not the assigned staff to our table, she stepped into the breach, and was excellent for the rest of our stay, even staying past the end of her shift to make sure we were attended to. Kudos to her! The food was good. They brought the wrong salad for my wife, but brought the correct one promptly and comped the wrong salad, which I was happy to eat. Would we go again, uncertain. There’s so many good restaurants in Guelph, we would likely eat somewhere else.

I tried the Novemburger and it was delicious. The service was excellent, as always! A special mention goes to Tamara who is incredibly knowledgeable and always makes our dining experience memorable. Thank you Borealis; we will be back!
