The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

From the OpenTable editors: The scene is just as sizzling as the steaks at this Little Italy stunner. Born & Raised turns the old-school steakhouse genre on its head, displaying photos of rap legends in the all-gold, super-glam dining room. There are steakhouse faithfuls, plus carts that prep vintage cocktails tableside. The result is an OTT steakhouse fit for the highest of high rollers.

With limited availability, we encourage you to reserve your table in advance and let us make your holiday gathering memorable. We will have an optional wine pairing ($85 per person) for each course carefully curated by our expert sommelier team. I came with my 4 friends for my birthday, we're all college teenagers so I'm used to higher end restaurants being dismissive of us because we aren't the big spending demographic but the staff was so kind. great ambiance and food!

                                                                          Never been to a steakhouse with a HUGE beautiful bar, who did not carry Kettle One vodka for martinis. Did have $35 glasses of wine though…Caesar salad made tableside was unique and delicious. Very very noisy with lots of beautiful wood on walls and ceiling making it almost impossible to hear when restaurant filled up. Valet parking was $20.

                                                                          We’re here on vacation from Michigan, I’ve had good eating in my life, but this was far above anything I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is incredible, service is exceptional, and the best steak dinner of my life. We travel often and I will now forever seek out Born and Raised for a meal when in the area. 10/10

                                                                          It was an experience! There's nothing like it , it was nice . Food was great the atmosphere was perfect . It's super inviting and the customer service was awesome . Went there for my 19th anniversary and it was everything we wanted for our date night . You get lost in time .

I made a reservation for my husbands birthday specifically asking for outside seating, they said unfortunately we can’t do that and then we proceeded to wait 20 mins even though we had reservations. Then we saw people going to outside seating even though we were told they couldn’t accommodate us. We just left

                                                                          Booked way ahead of time and was told that there is no rooftop availability 3 days prior. Staff was five stars. I love their presentation of the food. That was great. Server was excellent and accommodating. The bread and butter was great. Caesar Salad was extremely salty. The Steak in the Steak Diane was good but the red sauce was unbearable I had to wipe the sauce off the steak with a paper napkin so I don’t taste it which is primarily why I rated this experience so low. Chocolate cake was amazing. Couldn’t forget how bad the sauce was on Steak Diane.
